Thailand’s Digital Progress

Thailand’s Digital Economy and Society (DES) Ministry is advancing its eight core policies to enhance online safety and foster a sustainable digital economy. These policies focus on addressing online fraud, managing data leaks, driving regional digital implementation, and advancing AI development, among others. Recent achievements include a significant reduction in online crime costs and an increase in digital competitiveness, with Thailand improving its global ranking.

The government plays a crucial role by leading efforts to combat online threats and bolster digital capabilities. Through initiatives like the Anti Online Scam Operation Center, which has improved response metrics and curtailed illegal activities, Thailand is strengthening its digital infrastructure and aiming for higher competitiveness on the global stage.
