UAE’s New Data Platform

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has taken a pioneering leap forward with the launch of the Cargo Data Reporting System (CARDS). The system is the first of its kind to provide an analytical view of air cargo movement in the UAE. Moreover, it offers multiple technical services to government entities, national airlines, ground handling agents and express service providers.

By analyzing the performance of national airlines, ground handling agents and express service providers, the CARDS platform will share results and market share data with each entity. This data-driven approach enables stakeholders to make informed decisions, optimize operations and elevate standards of service delivery.
