Vietnam’s government has enhanced its national digital ID app, VNeID, allowing citizens to create digital signatures through the platform. This new feature, provided by Group VNPT, enables users to register digital signatures securely without traditional documentation. The government aims to have a majority of the population using digital signatures by 2030, supporting its broader digital transformation goals.
The expansion of VNeID also includes electronic health records and judicial certificates, streamlining services and reducing paper use. These digital advancements enhance efficiency in banking, healthcare, and legal sectors, promoting a more connected and secure digital environment.
