“2023 Web 3.0 Innovation Competition” launched meeting jointly organized by the Trusted Blockchain Promotion Program and the Hong Kong Web 3.0 Association was held in Beijing. The event was hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Internet Information Office, the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and the China Communications Standards Association. Co-organized by the Chongqing Institute of Information and Communication, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, Qulian Technology, and the Digital Finance Laboratory of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with support from OpenLabs, BSN, and DataFountain.
Yu Xiaohui, the director of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, said in his speech that the development of Web 3.0 technology is changing rapidly, with endless application innovations, strong industrial development momentum, and a governance system that is poised to take off.
