Smart Cities Index in 2023

Global Smart City Forum organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Saudi Arabia’s minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, announced that four cities in Saudi Arabia have been included in the smart cities index over the past year.

He stated that the Ministry’s objective is to have at least 10 Saudi cities ranked among the top 50 global cities by focusing on effective governance, sustainability, and engaging with residents to fulfill their requirements and promote high levels of well-being.
