Oman’s Net Zero Strategies

Oman: The Sustainable City – Yiti showcased its net zero emissions strategies at Oman Sustainability Week, aligning with Oman Vision 2040 and the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Supported by the government, this digital and sustainable project aims to reduce emissions by 78% through renewable energy, water recycling, and waste diversion.

Located near Muscat, this joint venture between Oman Tourism Development Company and SEE Developers spans one million square meters. The project emphasizes the government’s role in promoting digital sustainability, featuring advanced technology and infrastructure to support a green, circular economy, with completion targeted for 2026.
