UN Governments and Digital Smart Cities Collaboration

The UN and local governments are collaborating to gather case studies for the World Smart Cities Outlook and International Guidelines on People-Centred Smart Cities. This initiative seeks best practices and insights from various regions to enhance smart city development, focusing on sustainability, resilience, and quality of life.

The aim is to create a global framework that supports digital urban infrastructure and ensures inclusive, participatory, and human-rights-respecting smart city policies. Contributions are invited from June to September 2024 to help shape these guidelines and drive future innovations in smart cities.
