The new Digital Policy aims to harness emerging technologies to enhance development and humanitarian efforts while addressing associated risks.
With $14.6 million in funding, USAID will focus on AI adoption, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure improvements. Collaborations with global leaders like the governments of Latvia and Estonia will advance e-governance and digital capabilities in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to leveraging digital tools for global development and security.
