USAID’s Digital Policy Boost

Through the Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. government has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering open, secure, and inclusive digital ecosystems. The new Digital Policy aims to harness emerging technologies to enhance development and humanitarian efforts while addressing associated risks.

With $14.6 million in funding, USAID will focus on AI adoption, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure improvements. Collaborations with global leaders like the governments of Latvia and Estonia will advance e-governance and digital capabilities in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to leveraging digital tools for global development and security.
