Uzbekistan-JBIC Infrastructure Deal

The Uzbekistan Government collaborates with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to enhance its transport infrastructure and explore investment opportunities. Recent discussions between Uzbek officials and JBIC focused on advancing road management, aviation projects, and socially significant public-private partnerships (PPP) for modernizing drinking water supply and sewerage infrastructure. 

The collaboration aims to attract Japanese investments across Uzbekistan’s economy, with joint projects exceeding $3.7 billion. This partnership underscores the role of digital and technological advancements in modernizing public infrastructure and fostering economic growth.
