Philippines Digital Trade Reforms

The Philippines Government aims to strengthen cross-border electronic data exchange with key trading partners like China, Japan, South Korea, and the US. A study highlights the prioritization of digital documents such as electronic certificates of origin, export declarations, and phytosanitary certificates to improve trade efficiency and reduce customs clearance time.

This initiative aligns with the Philippines’ development plans, focusing on promoting trade, accelerating digitalization, and enhancing global market access.
