Indonesian Government: Foreign Workers Compliance

The Indonesian government emphasises that foreign nationals must report any changes in civil status, employment, or address to the immigration department within 30 days. Companies are responsible for ensuring their foreign employees comply, or they may face legal consequences. Hotels and apartments are also required to periodically report foreign guests to assist with monitoring residence status.

The integration of digital systems between immigration and the Online Single Submission platform allows the government to track changes in company names, board positions, and employment details, ensuring accurate records for all foreign workers.
