Brazil’s New Growth Acceleration

The Brazilian federal government’s Growth Acceleration Program (Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento, PAC) was launched during the first Lula government as an economic policy and investment project to promote Brazil’s economic growth. 

Acceleration Program aimed to promote economic growth and strengthen national competitiveness by executing large-scale investments by the federal government, major corporations, and the private sector in the construction, sanitation, energy, transportation, and logistics sectors.
