The governments of Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania are collaborating to develop an international sustainability tool aimed at assisting businesses in meeting European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Led by Estonia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, this initiative promotes a sustainable mindset and supports small and medium-sized enterprises in stakeholder mapping and impact assessment, facilitating compliance with EU sustainability objectives.
The tool, developed by a business and software company in partnership with a major business information database, emphasizes digital innovation to enhance regional competitiveness. Funded through a regional program, the project underscores the government’s commitment to fostering cross-border cooperation and driving sustainability in the Baltic Sea region.
