The data centre will facilitate access to Microsoft Azure through a new East Africa Cloud Region, offering scalable, secure, high-speed cloud and AI services. This cloud region will accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation in Kenya and East Africa. The initiative also includes local-language AI model development, an East Africa Innovation Lab, and international connectivity investments. These efforts will support safe and secure cloud services across East Africa.
