Cameroon Biometric Reforms

Cameroon’s Prime Minister Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute told lawmakers to create a new national digital ID card system. The new ID system will be expedient and efficient.

The new system will include an online enrollment platform, easier methods for digital payments, an automated system to inform the applicant of the card production process, interoperable digital communication system with other government services and many more.
