China has released an implementation plan to facilitate common prosperity through a greater and better digital economy, according to sources from the national data bureau. The plan, jointly released by the bureau and the National Development and Reform Commission, aims to integrate digital technologies with the real economy and address unbalanced and inadequate development issues using digital means.
By 2025, the plan aims to make positive progress in closing the gaps between regions, urban and rural areas, and different population groups in essential public services through the development of the digital economy.
