Cyber Attack at Canadian Airports

A recent cyber attack disrupted several airports in Canada, resulting in connectivity issues and significant delays in arrivals. The attack was a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, which caused disruptions to check-in kiosks and gates.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) quickly restored all systems within a few hours. The Russian threat group, NonName057(16), claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack was in response to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s support for Ukraine.
