 Digital Boost for Governance

The U.S. Embassy in Juba is funding initiatives to boost transparency and accountability in the South Sudanese transitional government’s management of public revenue. With up to $50,000 available, the program seeks digital and innovative approaches to enhance fiscal oversight, such as social media campaigns, investigative journalism, and financial literacy.

This funding aims to address issues of corruption and resource misallocation, supporting the transition to more responsible governance. The focus on digital tools highlights the role of technology in promoting effective government stewardship and engaging South Sudanese citizens in holding their government accountable.
