In Africa, where an estimated 500 million people lack legal identification, the need for robust identification systems has never been greater. To address this challenge, the Digital Identification and Finance Initiative (DigiFI) has emerged as a transformative force, aiming to leverage digital payments and identification systems to improve public service delivery, governance, and financial inclusion across the continent.
