Dubai Government’s ESG Initiative

The Dubai Government, through the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, has awarded the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Label to 27 companies, recognizing their commitment to sustainable business practices. This initiative, launched during Sustainability Week, aims to foster responsible governance and environmental stewardship within the business community. The Dubai Chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business developed this framework, incorporating insights from global ESG experts to align with best practices and regulatory standards.

In addition to promoting sustainable practices, the initiative highlights the role of digital technology in advancing ESG goals. By integrating advanced technologies like AI, the Dubai Government seeks to enhance the private sector’s sustainability efforts, ensuring that businesses can leverage digital solutions to improve their social and environmental impact.
