The Dubai Government has launched a Strategic Vision for the Data Centre Economy, aiming to position the emirate as a global leader in digital innovation. This initiative, approved by The Executive Council, aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets a 50% increase in economic productivity through digital advancements. The vision focuses on enhancing coordination among stakeholders to attract AI-driven data centers, which are projected to add over AED 14.3 billion to Dubai’s economy by 2028.
By integrating cutting-edge technologies and fostering a collaborative environment, this strategy is set to bolster Dubai’s role as a hub for technological excellence and sustainable economic growth. The initiative will also create job opportunities within the data center sector, reinforcing Dubai’s leadership in the global digital economy.
