Eritrea Digital Freedom

The fight for digital freedom has been a long and arduous one. Eritrea is a country, where the government has a tight grip on the flow of information and communication.

The Eritrean government passed a law that required all internet service providers to register with the government. This gave the government control over all internet in the country. The government also began to block access to popular social media sites, as well as news websites that were critical of the government.
