Governments’ Digital Strategy

UN Trade and Development’s report calls on governments to lead in creating a sustainable digital economy. Governments are crucial in shaping policies for a circular digital economy, which includes promoting responsible e-waste management, efficient resource use, and investment in renewable energy technologies. Digital advancements can drive global economic growth, but only with strong governmental frameworks can developing countries turn digital challenges into opportunities.

By implementing robust digital policies and fostering international cooperation, governments can bridge the digital divide and ensure both economic growth and environmental protection in the digital era.
