India’s government, through the Postal Department and India Post Payments Bank, has introduced a convenient digital service for pensioners to submit life certificates from home. The India government’s initiative uses biometric and FACE RD applications, enabling local postal employees to collect digital life certificates (Jeevan Pramaan) for a fee, reducing the need for pensioners to visit in person.
Special camps are set up in post offices, and pensioners can provide Aadhaar, mobile numbers, and pension details for digital submissions. This India government-driven digital solution simplifies the process, enhancing service accessibility for pensioners.
