NEC Corporation India has launched the latest smart city project in Tirupati, India, on behalf of Tirupati Smart City Corporation Limited.
The city will use information and communications technology (ICT) including facial recognition including establishing a City Operations Center (COC) in Tirupati. It will also have intelligent traffic management system which seeks the streamline traffic flow, including during rush hours, and will reduce traffic accidents.
