Karnataka Digital Advertising Guidelines

The Karnataka Government has introduced the ‘Karnataka Digital Advertising Guidelines – 2024’ through the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), allowing digital media entities, including influencers, to receive government advertisements.

Effective for the next five years, these guidelines aim to leverage digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and fintech apps to disseminate government schemes and policies. Digital media entities and agencies must meet specific criteria, including legal registration in Karnataka, GST registration, and operational history, to qualify for government advertising campaigns.
