Saudi Arabia is exploring partnerships with Germany, Japan, and France to strengthen its digital economy, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure. This move is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, aiming to increase the digital economy’s GDP contribution to 19.2% by 2025. The country also plans to digitize 92% of government services and raise the ICT sector’s GDP share to 4%. This will position Saudi Arabia as a global leader in AI and digital transformation.
The Kingdom unveiled the Riyadh Declaration, committing to developing inclusive and responsible AI technologies to address global challenges. The country aims to rank among the world’s top 15 countries in AI by the end of the decade. The Riyadh Declaration focuses on AI’s role in increasing digital accessibility, enhancing digital literacy, and promoting economic inclusion.
