Norway’s Digital Strategy Forum

Norway has launched the National Digitisation Forum (NDF) to drive digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption. The NDF will serve as an advisory hub, bringing together experts, ministers, and industry leaders to shape future government policies. Its primary goal is to accelerate digitisation in Norway, ensuring the country remains competitive in the digital landscape. The NDF will also explore the responsible use of AI, balancing innovation with trust, privacy, and regulation.

The NDF’s establishment is a significant step in Norway’s digital journey, aiming to boost policy development in AI and digitisation. Chaired by the Ministry of Digitization and Public Administration (MDPA), the NDF will facilitate collaborations between government, business, and society. Its work will focus on addressing societal challenges, driving economic growth, and ensuring that digitisation benefits all Norwegians. By promoting innovation and responsible AI adoption, Norway aims to become a European leader in digital transformation.
