The U.S. Government has awarded a $587.4 million contract to develop the Next Generation Jammer Low Band system, enhancing digital capabilities on aircraft and improving strike weapon lethality. This system will replace the existing tactical jamming system on the EA-18G Growler, increasing the aircraft’s ability to counter adversary systems through advanced digital warfare tools.
Additionally, the Navy awarded a $16 million contract for a virtualized network system upgrade on the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. This digital upgrade will improve cybersecurity and support future applications, further enhancing the U.S. military’s digital infrastructure and defense capabilities.
