The eHealth Summit, which was held earlier in September 2024, in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and online, is the largest event in the country’s digital medical sphere. The summit brought together over 300 leaders from the medical and IT industries, representatives of state bodies and public organisations, and international partners. It served as a platform for sharing experience and discussing future steps in the digitalisation of Ukrainian healthcare.
During the summit, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko announced new digital projects for the modernisation of medical services. These included electronic solutions for tracking the circulation of medical cannabis in Ukraine, electronic prescriptions for rehabilitation aids, electronic medical reports for the adoption process and for driver’s license applications, new modules for the stock management system for medicines and medical products (eStock), an electronic waiting list for endoprosthetics, and the launch of new systems and registers.
