UK’s AI Infrastructure

Microsoft has announced an investment of £2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) in Britain over the next three years, marking its most important financial commitment to the country. The initiative, revealed at a summit hosted by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The funding will play a pivotal role in more than doubling Microsoft’s data centre presence in Britain, providing crucial infrastructure to propel advancements in AI development.
