Indonesia’s Digital ID System

The government of Indonesia is preparing to roll out more entities of its digital service system. Digital ID, an instant digital payments service and a data exchange platform will be launched in the second half of 2024 as the country looks forward to building a complete digital public infrastructure (DPI).

Its designated technology agency, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of Indonesia (Peruri) is expected to spearhead the launch of a cocktail of digital applications during the year.
