In a recent study, researchers examined the impact of spin effects on the transport properties of a nanowire with MZMs coupled to a quantum dot junction with ferromagnetic leads.
The presence of MZMs was found to produce distinct features in the spin-resolved transport characteristics, including a zero-bias anomaly, negative differential conductance, negative tunnel magnetoresistance, and significant impact on the current cross-correlations. The findings of this study contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the nonlinear transport properties of Majorana-quantum dot systems.
